Online Freelance Writing Tips

Hi and thanks for visiting my marketing and writing blog.  Just a few years ago I was wondering how in the world I was going to pursue a freelance writing career.   So, I began my research and found great tips about freelance writing online.   As a freelance marketing writer, I will pass along information that I enjoy and others may find useful.

I’ve always found this website useful. And, the FundsforWriters newsletter was one of my first online encounter. (https://fundsforwriters.com/newsletters/) It was literally the first newsletter that I signed up for.

The editor, C. Hope Clark, shares her expertise and resources with writers no matter where they are in their careers. What I admire most is the “hope” that she instills through the FundsforWriters’ newsletter which has inspirational quotes and stories for readers.

Self- Publishing resources for writers

If grant writing is not your business funding option of choice, consider self-publishing. Yuwanda Black, editor of InkwellEditorial.com has quite a few, free and low cost techniques to get just about anyone started toward online writing success.

InkwellEditorial.com (https://inkwelleditorial.com/) has great learning tools for writers that you may not find at the library. For example, I ordered an e-book, about SEO from InkwellEditorial.com, because after searching all of the local libraries, there were no books on SEO. (The topic was relatively new a few years ago).

Yuwanda Black’s e-books are straight forward and easy to apply.
